The innovative Magnetic Switch allows safe switching between the two sound profiles X1 and X2 in the VE XCON.
- X1: Magnet installed
- X2: Magnet detached
By switching from X1 to X2, the Magnetic Switch simultaneously reduces -4 dB from 100 Hz downwards and -3 dB from 1 kHz to 5 kHz.
The magnets can be easily removed using the tool supplied and safely stored in the included case. Compared to the toggle switch of its predecessor, the Magnetic Switch is much more robust and secure to withstand the roughest touring conditions.
We recommend not changing the magnets “on the fly”, e.g. between two songs during a concert. Instead, the switch is designed to enable versatile use of an In-Ear with two sound profiles for different settings or applications and to change the magnets accordingly before use.
